Meet Fernando
I'm a Realtor with eXp Realty — and a neighbor here in Gateway, Fort Myers. I came to the United States from Colombia after years running sales for one of Latin America's largest consumer health companies, where I learned that the best client relationships are built on honesty, follow-through, and doing the work most people skip.
Once I moved to the US, I stepped into a Regional Manager role with a gutter and exteriors company covering the Tampa to Naples corridor. That's where I got to know Southwest Florida from the inside out — the growth areas, the builders, the neighborhoods, and the way homes actually get built here. Today, I'm also actively developing a single-family investment property in Southwest Florida — a hands-on project that has taught me more about construction quality, builder shortcuts, and what a home is really worth than any real estate course ever could.
My practice is built around helping families from up north and abroad make the move to Southwest Florida the right way — through new construction homes with real warranties, modern hurricane code, and honest builder incentives.
My focus is on buyers relocating from the Northeast, Midwest, Canada, and Latin America — people ready to leave behind cold winters, high state taxes, or economic uncertainty back home. Moving to Florida is exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming when you're doing it from a distance. I get it — I made the same leap myself.
I speak English and Spanish. I work closely with the major builders from Cape Coral to Bonita Springs — and because I've stood on the other side of the construction table, I know what to look for.
